In the summer of 2014 I directed and produced my first feature documentary for the One World Media student film festival; “You Poor Thing”.

You Poor Thing explores the idea of human empathy through the perspective of those in the most dire of circumstances. The film follows an animal care worker at the only free pet clinic in Cape Town’s largest township, Khayelitsha. This film was shot observationally, as I accompanied the care workers on their daily routines, trying to answer the question as to why animals are so important to those who are struggling and have so little.

The second feature film I had the opportunity to work on was for Business Insider’s long form content team, BI FILMS. “League of Millions” features Team Liquid, an esports organization which plays the worlds most popular online video game “League of Legends”. This film follows their progress through the 2015 season, from training at home to playing the sold out national finals in Madison Square Garden.

Most recently, I had the pleasure of working on the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival short film selection “Stanley Stellar: Here for this reason”. This short film examines the life of renowned photographer Stanley Stellar which spent decades documenting and photographing gay life in New York City. I was featured as the colorist and motion graphics artist for this film.
